THE SIMPLE, PROFOUND POWER OF “THANK-YOU”
The other day, in response to a personalized team gift we had given my daughter’s basketball coach he sent me a Thank You note. It was handwritten, uncomplicated, and sincere. It reminded me (again, every time I receive a Thank You note) how cool and impacting a simple word of “Thanks!” can be. Thank you coach for all you do and thanks for taking a few moments to say “Thanks”, it means a lot!

It connects two people in a way that refreshes the soul and reminds us that we care, that we noticed, that we matter in each other’s hurried, often harried existence. A thank you note is short and to the point yet requires us to stop, take a precious moment and genuinely reflect on how someone else encouraged us.
